As we all know fabric ‘clubs’, craft subscriptions, block of the month, etc. are very plentiful in many areas of the internet. We get peppered with many ads daily for these invitations and I’m sure many of them are wonderful. I just wanted to take a minute to tell you about the one I chose: Stash Builder Box. They can be found at http://www.stashbuilderbox.com if you wish to read more about them. The thing I like about this company is, in addition to the high quality fabric that comes to my front door each month, a percentage of the monthly charge goes to Camp Hobe. Camp Hobe is a summer camp designed for children currently undergoing treatment for cancer and their siblings. To find out more, please go to http://www.camphobekids.org
March Box (big picture #1) consisted of three 1 yard cuts of a brand new collection by Sarah Watts for Cotton + Steel, coordinating spool of Aurifil thread, Minnow Quilt Pattern by Megan Fisher, and a signature Sewing Truth Pencil.
April Box (top right picture) was three 1 yard cuts of the Wonderland collection by Rifle Paper Co. for Cotton + Steel, coordinating spool of Aurifil thread, Dazzling Diamonds quilt pattern by Peta Peace, bonus pattern, Deco Hex, a beautiful quilt label by Story Patches, and a Sewing Truth Pencil.
May Box (bottom right picture) held three 1 yard cuts of Gold and Rose Gold Basics by Riley Blake Designs, Flying Hexies quilt pattern by Simply Bekah Designs, coordinating spool of Aurifil thread, and a Sewing Truth Pencil.
These fabrics are all of top quality, beautiful designs and colors, and large enough to actually use them in a larger quilt. Templates, additional patterns, and tutorials can be downloaded from the website.
Disclaimer: I am in no way associated with Stash Builder Box or Camp Hobe other than getting the box every month. I do not get paid for telling you about this product.
Oh my goodness – how fun to get those boxes! Cotton + Steel – that is my latest fabric obsession. My brother sent me an Etsy gift card for my birthday and I bought a collection of Cotton + Steel fat quarters (which I did not need but absolutely love). Happy Stash Building!

That is one of my favorites also. I am really surprised at the quality of the fabric in the boxes and I really like getting a three 1 yard pieces. Such fun. I definitely do not need any help with building my stash, but….

That sounds great that you get such lovely fabrics and they donate to the camp. I see lots of fat quarter clubs but I’ve come to think yard cuts are much more useful 🙂

Yes, I like the yard cuts much better. I usually make big quilts and the fat quarters are never enough. Thanks for the comment Janine.
