I know you all are getting tired of seeing/hearing about this quilt project as it was my July OMG to get it pieced. In order to put this project to bed (pun intended) my August goal is to quilt and possibly bind this lovely quilt. I have a pretty dark blue and off white toile fabric to use as a backing.
If you would like to see some beautiful projects in all stages of completion check in with Elm Street Quilts OMG  for a nice treat.
Thanks for reading and feel free to comment. I enjoy hearing from you.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who has a project that keeps coming up on my blog over and over! So glad you are making progress good luck getting it quilted and bound

Hi Peggy,
I am not tired of hearing about this quilt at all. I think it is lovely and you did a fabulous job on it. I’m wondering how you are going to quilt it? It seems like the fabric gives it some movement already; not being a long-arm quilter, I would probably just use a wavy stitch on my dsm. Cannot wait to see what you decide. ~smile~ Roseanne

Thanks Roseanne. We had the same thought. In my tiny mind I am seeing wavy lines on the ‘stripes’ and just outlining the star blocks. Sometimes it looks better in my mind that what I end up with but we’ll see. đŸ™‚

Congrats on meeting the goal and getting this top together! I enjoy reading your progress on projects and it is obvious to me that I need to get busy with some of mine. I just popped over to Elm Street Quilts OMG and decided to follow. Since today is the 1st of the month, there is no time like now to set a goal and I have “just the one” in mind!! Going to write a post about it, and link back to both your blog and Elm Street Quilts OMG as my “inspiration”!! đŸ™‚

It is such a striking quilt! I love the pattern! I do not buy kits though, just patterns. Maybe I can make it without the pattern.

It is an easy pattern to duplicate. Just a LOT of 2″ blocks and 8 1/2″ star blocks. This quilt kit was on sale at a fantastic price and it included almost 15 yards of fabric and the pattern.
