I Wish You A Merry Quilt Along, Block 1

I know, I know, here I am doing another quilt along even though I have two going on right now. BUT this one looks so cute and it is for Christmas. Just look at the sparkly white snowflake. How could I resist?

This QAL is brought to us by Quilt In Piece. The Snowflake block is number 1 of 12 and I completed it as raw edge applique. You all know I am not good with applique so I am pleased to say I finished this one and did not turn under any edges. I will feel guilty tomorrow but today I celebrate. 🙂

I have a spoiled rotten Boston Terrier named Sami who keeps me busy mostly by cleaning up after her and refilling holes in the yard that she insists on digging and burying her toys. Yea! Glad you decided to do this QAL. Your block pops too and is very sparkly 😀 I love raw edge applique, you did a great job of it.

  Thank you. It does take a little time but not nearly as much as I usually spend on applique. I enjoyed doing this one.

Hi Peggy! I didn’t know you were playing along with this QAL. Love, love, LOVE your block and you will see sooner rather than later that we have very similar taste as far as our blocks go. HAHA – who can ever go wrong with red and white?!! ~smile~ Roseanne
