Moda Blockheads – Block of the Week #10

Moda Blockheads Block of the Week #10 is an applique block named Basket and Flower by Jan Patek. I am not good at applique so the block I completed looks nothing like Jan’s lovely basket and flower but it is done. I hope by the time these 48 blocks are completed I will have accomplished many different techniques to include applique. I am still waiting for it to kick in. I know the best cure is practice.

Since my color theme for the blocks is brown, rust, tan, etc. I decided to go with Fall items.
