Moda Blockheads BOW #42 of 48

DSCN1399.JPG

Block #42 is called Turnstile by Carrie Nelson from Moda Fabrics. I changed the pattern a little by adding my chicken block in the center instead of the pieced block that Carrie used. We only have six more blocks to go in this quilt along. It has been a fun project. I have learned a lot of new things and met a lot of new people.

Thanks for visiting. Merry Christmas everyone.

I am a retired grandmother living in hot and sunny Florida. I spend most of my days doing what I love: sewing and quilting. I have a spoiled rotten Boston Terrier named Sami who keeps me busy mostly by cleaning up after her and refilling holes in the yard that she insists on digging and burying her toys. Of course then she digs them up and brings them into the house resulting in...you guessed it...more cleaning. I will be posting pictures of Sami, quilts, flowers, and other things as they come along. Glad to have you join me.

  1. Hi Peggy,
I can totally see the turnstyle! When I was a kid we had a local store called Turnstyle. It probably was a precursor to Walmart. They had everything including a grocery store and it was huge. I love your block – the purple and background compliment each other so nicely. Only six to go – that’s amazing. Merry Christmas to you and Sami! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

      1. Relax? Heck no! Did you see all that new fabric I just got, and the Regatta is starting! No relaxing for me – HAHA. And Sami IS good – you just to change your expectations. ~smile~ Roseanne
